Providence Bay Dock & Boat Launch Providence Bay dock and boat launch (boat ramp) facilities are the closest to Black's Bay Lodge These facilities are operated by the Algoma-Manitoulin Harbour Commission. It is used for commercial fishing fleet, as well as pleasure craft. Boat launch is $8.00 per in-out or $70.00 for the season. There are numerous slips and finger dock places for rent by the day or season. Slip rental is $21.47 per foot for May 1st to Oct. 31st, or $1.10 per foot for the day. Most slips are rented for the season, but a few slips can be had for a few days to a week. Book early or be disappointed. Kenny is the Wharfinger, awaiting to assist all boaters and fishermen. There are 8 fishing charter boats that operate out of Providence Bay for salmon, lake trout, and more.
