The kitchen comes complete with a full size gas stove,
lots of counter space, propane fridge, microwave, breadmaker, a full set
of kitchen cupboards, a double sink with running water, and three windows
for excellent views and light on the darkest of days. The cupboards
are full of staples, as well as all the necessary dishes and cooking
utensils. |

After coming inside from the West deck, you are in the
"Mud Room" with access to the bathroom, the Utility Room, and the main
floor of the Lodge. On the main floor is the Dining Room, the
picture windows looking out onto the South deck and Lake Huron, the access
door to the South deck, the spiral staircase to the 2nd. floor, and the
kitchen. |

The living room has two large picture windows looking out
over the South deck and towards Lake Huron. During the winter, it is
close to the large wood stove for lots of warmth and good conversations. |

The dining room is standard "country" with enough seating
from 2 to 14 hungry people. With the East facing window to let in
the morning light, and being across from the 2 large picture windows in
the living room makes for bright, cheery meals and work centre throughout
the day. |

Bathtub & shower in main floor bathroom.
There is lots of hot water & pressure, either by using our 12 USGPM
well pump, or our super energy efficient DC water pump at 3 USGPM (maximum
water flow rate through shower nozzle).
Tub is full-sized soaker tub with slip-resistant bottom.
There is a acrylic shower liner for easy cleanup & waterproof
construction.

The composting has less odor than a septic system. The white pail contains
pine wood shavings; a scoop of which is added to the toilet with every use
to help the natural aerobic composting of the wastes. BBay's Staff will
take care of the rest between renters. |
Use
the toilet, add a scoop of wood shavings, and flush. BBay
has invested in the world's most advanced and environmentally friendly
toilet system. This is a composting, high efficiency flush toilet
that requires only 1/2 pint of water to flush.
A typical toilet requires 4 gallons (to as much as 16 gallons) per flush;
all of which has to be processed at great taxpayer expense on $/gallon
basis).

The utility room is fully stocked with every conceivable
tool, wrench, screw, and bolt. Everything is arranged and classified
into slide in - slide out totes for quick access.
The access to the basement is through here via a trap door.
Long term storage, food canning stores, composting toilet sanitary
system, solar battery power storage system, and auxiliary heating system
are all found below. |
